Some people leave your life...
But they never completely leave your heart.
I wrote "Soulmate" to explore one of the hardest questions I've ever asked myself:
If someone truly changed your life, do they stop being your soulmate simply because the relationship ended?
This song isn't about trying to win someone back.
It's about trying to understand the kind of love that continues to exist long after the conversations stop, the photos fade, and life moves in different directions.
Sometimes another person walks into our life when we need them most. They help us heal, believe in ourselves, and become someone stronger than we ever imagined. Even if they're no longer beside us, the person we've become is living proof they were once there.
That's the heart of "Soulmate."
It's a song about gratitude, longing, unanswered questions, and accepting that some relationships continue shaping us long after they've ended.
As Track 8 of the Game Over album, Soulmate stands as the emotional peak of the story. The excitement of falling in love has given way to reflection, grief, and the search for meaning. Rather than asking who was right or wrong, the song asks something quieter:
Can love leave... while its impact stays forever?
